To start, the Redmi TV is a 70-inch 4K TV with support for HDR. It also supports a number of audio technologies like Dolby Atmos and DTS HD. Inside, it has a quad-core 64-bit Amlogic chipset, the PatchWall UI, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Being a smart TV, it also comes with dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity.

Other more conventional connectivity options include two USB ports and three HDMI ports. It also has a Bluetooth-powered voice remote. As for its design, it’s fairly simple and straightforward, allowing it to be wall-mounted or placed on a table with its stand. The Redmi TV is priced at CNY3799 (~RM2241), and will be available in China starting 3 September 2019. For now, there’s no word on its availability outside of its home country, including our shores.
