To start, Vivo demonstrated using 5G for file sharing and screen mirroring. Usually, the use case scenarios for these tech are usually limited to the WiFi network that the involved devices are connected to. Vivo says that 5G is the solution to this limitation.
The next implementation is something that we’ve heard of a lot recently. This will be especially true if you’re up to speed with Google Stadia And Microsoft xCloud. They essentially work the same way – a remote server deals with all the graphical heavy lifting, and beams the result to a display of your choice.
In the end, all these are mere proofs of concept that relies on tech that isn’t mainstream yet. So it’s safe to say that we won’t be experiencing any if this anytime soon. It’s still nice to see that companies are preparing for the advent of 5G.
