In terms of specs, the XG240R features a 144 Hz LCD panel and a 1ms response time. It is also a Freesync monitor, meaning that desktop systems running with an AMD Radeon graphics card will be able to take advantage of the display’s anti-screen tearing technology. For output, the XG240R comes fitted with two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB 3.0 Type B and two USB 3.0 Type A ports. ViewSonic also implemented a feature known as Elite Game Mode. It gives users two presets, Speed Focus and Colour Focus. Both designed for different visual fidelities.
At the back, the XG240R has RGB accent lighting built into the chassis. These RGB LEDs are customisable via three of the brand’s lighting software – Thermaltake’s TT RGB Plus Ecosystem, Razer’s Chroma, and Cooler Master’s MasterPlus+. The ViewSonic Elite XG240R is now available at all authorised reseller, and retails for RM1089. This monitor will also be available to purchase on ViewSonic’s flagship online stores at Lazada, 11Street and Shopee. (Source: ViewSonic)
