— Larni Bharatan (@Larni08) May 27, 2019 — Original Story follows — The Malaysian Twitterverse went into overdrive today after a tweet made on the official Maxis twitter account @MaxisListens, by someone claiming to be it’s Social Media Team Lead Larni Bharatan, went viral. The tweet which has been since deleted was however captured by Twitter users and was trending at the #2 position on the Twitter Malaysia Trends, barely an hour after first being posted. Most of the comments were in a show of support for Larni.
We have reached out to Maxis to verify whether this was indeed a genuine rant from a disgruntled staff, or if their social media account has been compromised.
