The information comes from prolific app reverse engineer Jane Manchun Wong, on Twitter itself. She posted a screenshot of Twitter’s log in page, where the option to sign in with Google appears. it’s also showing up as the top option, which is then followed by the usual sign up and log in buttons.

— Jane Manchun Wong (@wongmjane) June 24, 2021 Signing in with a Google account is as straightforward as it sounds in most cases. Some platforms or forums will still require a proper account creation, but in most cases your Google one would suffice. It’s certainly an increase in convenience, but that does mean that said account becomes more valuable. At least in the sense of cybersecurity. All things considered, if you have a strong password that’s unlikely to get brute-forced, you should be fine. That being said, there’s no word as to when we will actually see the integration going live for everyone. It could take months, but it’s likely we’ll get an official announcement from Twitter before that happens. (Source: Jane Manchun Wong / Twitter)
