The new smartphone arrives with a 6.82-inch HD+ LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Accompanying the large screen is a small waterdrop notch and a large chin that features the Nokia branding. Being an entry-level device, it is understandable that the company would skip a punch-hole cutout approach for the front-facing camera, although it is undeniable that some users may be put off by the chin. Other than that, the G50 5G is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated Google Assistant button, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Like most handsets available in the market, you may also choose to expand its storage further via a microSD card. As for battery, the Nokia G50 5G is equipped with a large 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging capability via USB-C.
Housed in a circular array on the back of the phone are three different cameras. These consist of a 48MP main shooter, followed by a 5MP ultra wide-angle, and a 2MP depth sensor. Meanwhile, housed within the notch on its display is an 8MP selfie camera.
The new Nokia G50 5G comes in Ocean Blue and Midnight Sun colourways, and is offered at a starting price of EUR230 (~RM1,130).
