Revealed last night ahead of CES 2019, Dell also claimed that it is the world’s smallest commercial 14-inch 2-in-1 laptop. The Latitude 7400 2-in-1 laptop also features a chassis made from machines aluminum alongside hairline brushed design diamond cut edges. Additionally, the bottom cover of the laptop is made from magnesium alloy and coated with soft-touch paint. Its 14-inch Full HD+ WVA display which supports the optional Dell Premium Active Pen also comes with minimalist narrow bezels on all four sides. Not only that, the laptop also comes with a feature called ExpressSign-In which would detect user’s presence and automatically wake up the system before it proceeds to scan the identity of the user via its IR camera and Windows Hello biometric security feature within Windows 10. Made possible by Intel Context Sensing technology, the same feature also helps lock down user’s PC when it detects that the user walks away from the system. Powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core processors from the Whiskey Lake-U family, the Latitude 7400 2-in-1 can be obtained with up to 16GB LPDDR-2133 RAM alongside the optional support for Cat-16 Gigabit LTE through Qualcomm Snapdragon X20 LTE-A modem.

Not enough with all that, Dell also boldly claimed that the 2-in-1 laptop has a battery life of up to 24 hours and its ExpressCharge feature is able to provide up to 80% of battery with just one hour of charging. While its actual rollout date in Malaysia is not yet known for now, the new Latitude 7400 2-in-1 convertible will be made available in the United States starting from early March for USD 1599 (about RM 6591) onwards.
