This is certainly not the first time the sequel to Naughty Dog’s survival horror title has experienced a delay. Back in October last year, the studio initially announced that the game’s February 2020 launch date had been pushed to May instead.

They added that the game is nearing completion, and is in the midst of its final bug fixing process.
