Pre-installed with the company’s HiOS 8.6 which is based on Android 12, the Pova 3 features a 6.95-inch 90Hz LCD display with a punch-hole cutout in the middle for the front camera. On the top and bottom of the phone, there are dual stereo speakers that support DTS while the side houses the fingerprint scanner. It runs on a MediaTek Helio G77 with a single configuration of 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If that’s not enough for you, the phone has a microSD slot for storage expansion up to 512GB as well as being able to utilise unused storage for RAM expansion. Alongside the support for NFC and Bluetooth 5.0, Pova 3 also has a Z-axis linear vibration motor, which TECNO claims gives better immersion when gaming. The highlight of the Pova 3 is the massive 7,000mAh battery, which TECNO claims can last up to 20 hours with streaming YouTube videos, 50 hours with playing music, and eight hours with gaming. The phone’s battery charging rate maxed out at 25W but somehow, the company decided to provide it with a 33W charger. As you may expect from a phone with such a huge battery capacity, Pova 3 can also deliver reverse wired charging for your other devices, effectively becoming a power bank with a maximum output of 10W. As for the camera setup, the rear module boasts three lenses while the front is fitted with an 8MP selfie camera. The cameras on the back consist of a 50MP main shooter alongside a 2MP lens, and according to a customer support representative, a “QVGA sensor”. All three colours of the TECNO Pova 3 are available now on the brand’s Shopee page for RM799. It comes in blue, black, and white; the blue variant features an LED light strip in the middle of the back that lights up when you receive calls and notifications. (Source: TECNO)
