Well, as it turns out, MBSB Bank wants to reward that habit of saving, and it is doing so through its “Simpan Berganda Menang Bergaya” campaign, where you stand a chance to win up to RM2,270,500 worth of cash prizes and rewards. Interested? Well, here’s what you need to know. First off, and most obviously, you’re going to need to open up a PrimeWin Savings or Current Account-i within MBSB Bank. For that matter, the campaign can be divided into two categories: Individual and Non-Individual.
If you’re opening an account at MBSB Bank or already have a pre-existing account within the Individual category, there are a few pre-requisites. Firstly, all individuals need to be 18 years or older. If you are younger than 18 years, then you must be a member of a Joint Account, subject to the account being handled or operated by a trustee. Moving on, participants can also be a Malaysian citizen or a Permanent Resident or a non-Resident. Under the Non-Individual category, participants can have accounts as Sole Proprietors; Partnerships; Associations, Clubs, Societies, School; Mosques, and other Religious Bodies; SMEs and Non-SMEs, as well as Cooperatives. Categories aside, let’s move on to the campaign mechanics. For individual category, new and existing customers need to maintain a Monthly Average Balance (MAB) of RM100 in their account, in order to be eligible for prizes from the Monthly Draw up to the Regional Draw. For customers looking to stand a chance to win the Special Draw or Grand Draw, you will need to maintain an MAB of RM3,000 for three months. In regards to the Grand Draw, customers need to earmark or hold a Monthly Average Balance (MAB) of RM3,000 for at least three (3) months for each quarter. As for Non-Individual accounts, you will only be eligible for the Monthly and Grand Draw, with the former requiring that the customer maintain an MAB of RM3,000, while those who wish to stand a chance for the Grand Prize will need to earmark a minimum of RM10,000 for a period of six months before the end of the campaign period.
