According to Engadget, users will first be required to navigate either to the Spotify for Artists or Spotify for Podcasters websites respectively and follow the instructions stated on the aforementioned page to start creating a promo card. Once created, these cards can be shared on the aforementioned social media platforms and would lead users to a profile page, a particular track, or podcast episode hosted on Spotify. In addition to this, should a creators content be featured in one or more of Spotify’s Top 33 music or podcast playlist, they can then make specific cards to direct people to their featured contents immediately.

If you are probably wondering by now, ordinary users too can create customised cards without needing to login in order to access the aforementioned websites. Also keep in mind that these Promo Cards are exclusively for directing users to content hosted on Spotify, and would not work for other platforms such as Apple Music. (Source: Engadget)
