Unfortunately, Aaron Davis is completely missing from Spider-Man: Far From Home and so is any mention of his nephew Miles Morales. If you’re wondering if Marvel Studios/Sony Pictures just decided to drop the Miles Morales/Aaron Davis idea, they didn’t. In an interview with THR, Far From Home writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers had this to say: The huge positive we can take away from the interview is that the writers have not forgotten about Miles Morales. In fact, it’s great that they were willing to sacrifice him for the sake of the story. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more of Aaron Davis in the future. One doesn’t simply cast Donald Glover for nothing. Sommers: That’s really what it came down to. We loved that character and we wanted to do it, but we just wanted to get out of New York and get on the trip as soon as possible. There were several things we would have loved to do in New York before he left, but we just didn’t have time.
