What the slide above pretty much said is that Sony Mobile has shifted its attention to only a handful of countries including Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong as well as European countries. For the rest of the world including Malaysia, they are no longer viewed as viable markets. With this revelation, those who have been hoping to see any new Xperia phones being officially released here in Malaysia including the Xperia 1 and Xperia 10 that were launched at MWC earlier this year have to move on.
