From 1 February onwards, Penang will officially become the third SOCAR’s region in Malaysia. For starters, the company will deploy 50 cars in Penang through 21 zones that are located in both the mainland and island part of the state, as listed below:

Naturally, SOCAR will provide the one-way drives option to customers who want to travel from Kuala Lumpur to Penang via its service. In fact, they can actually try it right now by taking advantage of the complimentary one-way drives that SOCAR is offering right now until 31 January in conjunction with its expansion to Penang. Meanwhile, SOCAR has stated that the company now has a fleet of 1000 cars with more than 15 car models that customer can choose from. With the inclusion of Penang alongside Klang Valley and Johor Bahru, there are also more than 500 SOCAR zones throughout these three regions at the moment. Not bad indeed for a company that has just started its service in our market one year ago. To learn more about SOCAR, check out its official website right here.
