Despite being launched back in February, it appears that DxOMark had only recently conducted tests with the S20 Ultra due to several issues with its camera software, which has undergone several updates. However, it appears that its autofocus and imaging performance are still experiencing some issues as pointed out before by our reports, and are also noted in DxOMark’s testing.

The site commented that the Galaxy S20 Ultra’s cameras produced high quality and colourful images with wide dynamic range. Its noise control and ultra-wide camera were also praised, as well as some aspects of its video capture capabilities. As for the flaws in camera performance, DxOMark acknowledges the S20 Ultra’s aforementioned autofocusing issues especially during low light conditions. The site notes that the device’s focusing system is slower when compared to the competition. Furthermore, its video output also offers limited dynamic range in high-contrast conditions, and produces low details when shot in low-light.
