As it turns out, the price of the new phone was actually revealed in another manner. Specifically, through full-page advertisement on several newspapers including today’s edition of The Sun as shown in this screenshot below:
For RM 1999, you are looking at a phone with 6.3-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display that is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. In Malaysia, the Galaxy A9 also features 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. As pointed before, the quad camera setup on Galaxy A9 consisted of a 24MP f/1.7 camera as its main snapper alongside 10MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, 8MP f/2.4 ultra-wide camera, and 5MP f/2.2 depth camera. Together with a 24MP front camera, completing its general specifications is a 3800 mAh battery.
