The rumour comes by way of leakster site Videocardz, who also seems to confirm the card’s specification. According to the site, the RTX 2060 will supposedly feature 1920 CUDA cores, 240 Tensor Cores, 30 RT Core, 120 TMUs, and 48 ROPs. Additionally, its boost clock will allegedly be set at 1680MHz for both the Founders Edition and reference PCB variants. A more important key point to the rumour, however, is the presence of the RT Cores in the GPU. Meaning that the RTX 2060 will indeed carry support for ray-tracing. As a point of proof to this, NVIDIA and its AiB partner will reportedly be bundling the card with a free copy of either Battlefield V or the upcoming Anthem.

The offer of Battlefield V here is significant, simply because it’s currently the only game that carries support for DirectX Ray-tracing, or DXR. This feature is crucial for gamers that wish to take advantage of NVIDIA’s RTX technology. Videocardz also says that GeForce RTX 2060 will be making its debut on 7 January 2019. However, NVIDIA has yet to release any official statement about the card, neither has the brand confirmed the release date. With that in mind, we’ll just have to wait until the aforementioned date to gain confirmation of the card’s existence. (Source: Videocardz)
