Specifically, the K20 Pro is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 while the vanilla K20 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 instead. Additionally, K20 Pro supports 27W fast charger as compared to the standard K20 model which only goes as high as 18W even though both phones have a battery capacity of 4000mAh.
Not to forget, a Sony IMX586 sensor is present inside the main camera of K20 Pro’s while K20 is equipped with a Sony IMX582 sensor instead even though both sensors have the same native resolution of 48MP. As for the rest of their components, they are pretty much identical to each other including 6.39-inch Full HD+ resolution with an in-display fingerprint scanner, 20MP pop-up selfie camera, 8MP telephoto camera, and 13MP ultra wide-angle camera.
Price-wise, the Redmi K20 with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage goes for CNY 1,999 (~RM 1,211) while the higher-end model with 6GB/128GB configuration is listed at CNY 2,099 (~RM 1,272). For the Pro model, the 6GB/64GB configuration is priced at CNY 2499 (~RM 1,514) which then shoots up to CNY 2,599 (~RM 1,575) for the variant with the 6GB/128GB combo. The Redmi K20 Pro can also be obtained with 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB setup which is priced at CNY 2799 (~RM 1,696) and CNY 2999 (~RM 1,817) respectively. It is not yet known if Xiaomi Malaysia intends to bring any of these Redmi K20 devices into our market but at this pricing, we not surprised if there are many out there who want to get their hands on these devices.
