And with the Pro moniker comes a slight upgrade in specs, naturally. Company CMO Xu Qi Chase uploaded a screenshot of the device’s About Phone screen on Chinese social media site Weibo. This gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the new phone. From the screenshot, we can see that the realme X50 Pro 5G comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. It will also be running the same realme UI based on Android 10 as the base X50.

No details on the device’s display or battery were shared. But Android Central reports that the display is expected to match that of the base X50, by having a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s also expected to have a pill-shaped cutout on the display to fit two front-facing cameras. With the novel coronavirus scare, a fair number of brands have decided to not be there at the MWC 2020. These include names like LG, ZTE, Nvidia and Sony. Meanwhile, realme joins OPPO as one of the brands that will go on ahead with their launch plans. The latter, of course, is looking to announce its Find X2 flagship. (Source: Android Central, Weibo)
