Now that the cat’s out of the bag, the brand has finally revealed the Pro’s full list of key specifications. Interestingly, the phone features a smaller 6.44-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display compared to the original’s 6.57-inch screen. The Pro also drops its refresh rate from the realme X50’s 120Hz to only 90Hz. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner as opposed to the side mounted sensor found on the original.
With those being the only downgrades, the realme X50 Pro features significant upgrades to the original in terms of internal hardware. The phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with a 5G modem and up to 12GB of RAM. It also features up to 256GB UFS 3.0 internal storage with TurboWrite and Host Performance Booster for fast writing and reading speeds, as well as running on Android 10 out of the box.
On top of that, the realme X50 Pro is powered by a 4,200mAh battery that supports 65W SuperDart Flash Charge. According to the company, the battery can be charged to 60% in just 20 minutes, while a full charge can be achieved within 35 minutes. Additionally, the phone also features stereo speakers, NFC support, Google Pay, and an internal vapour cooling system. Camera-wise, the X50 Pro sports a rear quad-camera setup consisting of a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor, an 8MP ultra wide-angle, 12MP telephoto with 2x optical and 20x hybrid zoom, and a B&W portrait lens. On its display is a pill-shaped punch hole which houses a 32MP Sony IMX616 main camera and an 8MP ultra wide-angle.
The realme X50 Pro is available in Moss Green and Rust Red, and is retailing at EUR599 (~RM2740) for the 8GB+128GB configuration, EUR669 (~RM3060) for 8GB+256GB, and EUR749 (~RM3426) for 12GB+256GB. The phone’s European release is scheduled for April, while its availability in other regions has not been announced just yet. (Source: realme via GSMArena | Images: realme.)
