Through the integration, this means Razer Pay can be accepted wherever Visa is available which means around 54 million merchant locations throughout the world. Being a prepaid solution, this means the Razer Pay’s virtual Visa card will also utilize the same top-up and cash-out method as per the e-wallet.
In other words, potential customers of Razer Pay’s virtual Visa card will not require a bank account in order to apply and utilize the card. According to the renowned gaming company, the solution will complement other features that already exist in Razer Pay such as mobile top-ups, in-game credits, and streaming subscriptions. However, there is no exact launch date for the time being although Razer and Visa stated that it will be available in the coming months. We’ll keep you updated once we hear more from them.
