An update to the original Core X enclosure, the Core X Chroma features several updates to its predecessor, the most obvious being the inclusion of Razer’s Chrome RGB to it. Additionally, the eGPU comes with an extended I/O, comprising four USB-A ports, an Ethernet port, plus a 700W PSU. To that end, the enclosure still has a power delivery of 100W via USB-C. As for the GPU, the Core X Chroma is capable to support any graphics card with a maximum thickness of three slots, either from NVIDIA or AMD. As an extra added bonus, Razer is making the Core X Chroma compatible with Apple’s MacBooks. Be advised, however, that compatibility for MacBooks are limited to AMD’s Radeon GPUs, and not NVIDIA’s GeForce or Quadro series GPUs.

The Razer Core X Chrome is already available in Malaysia via authorised store partners and resellers. Price-wise, the eGPU retails at an SRP of RM1999.
