Pringles dubs the potato chips feeder attachment as the “Pringles Hammer Hunger” and consists of 3D printed dispenser with a motorized feeder attached that delivers you the chips directly to your mouth. As seen from the hands-on video by Engadget, the feeder can be activated by a press of a button via remote. Engadget pointed out that the headset attachment actually functions very well, but noted that the motorized parts were rather loud when it’s operating to feed you the chips. Another problem is that, if its not positioned correctly, the feeder would deliver the chips to your nose instead. Seeing that this product is merely a lighthearted suggestion from Pringles, it’s not to be taken seriously. Although, it does seem cool especially when you’re too lazy to feed yourself. On that note, the Hammer Hunger attachment did catch the attention of Tan Min Liang, Razer’s CEO, who then took it to Facebook and proposed to Pringles for an official collaboration to make the headset a reality. As bizarre as it is, the Hammer Hunger does seem to be working albeit needing some more tweaking before it becomes the perfect device for lazy gamers. Even though we have yet to see an actual Razer Toaster , we shall see if Razer would actually work with Pringles to produce a finalised version of the automated potato chips dispenser headset.
