Beyond that, you’ll also need to control the outbreak of the new disease. This is done by implementing measures like lockdowns, and promoting hand washing. And of course, you’ll have to balance such measures with keeping the economy afloat.
The Cure is developed with the help of experts from the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness, the World Health Organisation (WHO), and the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network. But despite the realistic simulation of the process, Ndemic Creations reminds players that Plague Inc in general, and this particular game mode, are not scientific simulations. That being said, Plague Inc serves as a great educational tool for the masses. Not only does the base game teaches people the way in which diseases spread around the world, The Cure mode teaches the way they are controlled, or even eradicated.
