Specifically, it comes in the form of pop up selfie camera although the shape is rather highly unusual as opposed to other existing pop-up camera phone including OPPO’s own F11 Pro. The fin-shaped enclosure housed a 16MP sensor alongside a 5-element f/2.0 lens, and its own soft-light flash.
On its back is a dual camera system which features 48MP f/1.7 and 5MP f/2.4 cameras. The Reno series also has another model called Reno 10x Zoom which still retains the same 48MP camera but also comes with 8MP f2/.2 ultra-wide camera and 13MP telephoto camera with 10x hybrid zoom capability. Aside from the camera difference, the standard Reno is running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 while the Reno 10x Zoom edition is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. Additionally, the standard model is also equipped with a 6.4-inch display which is smaller than the 10x Zoom edition that carries 6.6-inch display even though they are still Full HD+ AMOLED panel. Not surprisingly, the capacities of their batteries are different as well at 3765mAh and 4065mAh respectively. Nevertheless, both variants of Reno can be obtained with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. Interestingly, the standard Reno model will be unleashed first in Malaysia on 16 May while the 10x Zoom edition will follow suit on 27 May. With that, stay tuned for further details regarding the arrival of the OPPO Reno series in Malaysia later this month.
