Other attraction of the new phone includes its triple rear camera array which includes a dual-aperture 12MP snapper alongside another 20MP f/2.6 camera. The third camera on the R17 Pro is rather different though since not only that it operates separately from the two other cameras, but it is actually a Time-of-Flight 3D camera that users can utilize to scan objects.
The new phone is also equipped with a 25MP Sony IMX576 sensor for its f/2.0 front camera which is enhanced with HDR capability and AI-powered beautification feature. Pre-installed with ColorOS 5.2 on top of its Android 8.1 operating system, the R17 Pro also features a 3700mAh bi-cell battery that supports OPPO’s own SuperVOOC Flash Charge technology that allows the phone to be charged from empty to 40% in just 10 minutes. Priced at RM 2699, the new phone can be pre-ordered from tomorrow, 23 November onwards at various channels including physical OPPO Concept Stores as well as Celcom Blue Cube, Senheng, senQ, and other authorized dealers. Customers can also choose to do so in Lazada, 11street, and Shopee.
Each pre-order customers will be able to receive an Olike Weloop Neo Smartband for free. To learn more about the new phone, check out the recap of our Facebook Live first look at the device or head on to its official website.
