Coincidentally, the 10T was seen listed on DNB’s updated list of 5G-ready devices yesterday, hours before OnePlus even made the announcement for the event although it was erroneously put up as “Nord 10T”. However, the name is no longer there once we took a look at the list again today: While not much has been revealed, CEO Pete Lau confirmed in a forum post that the OnePlus 10T would run on the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, the top-shelf chipset from Qualcomm. With the tagline “Evolve Beyond Speed”, it might be a hint that the phone will be equipped with 150W charging. The 150W SuperVOOC charging technology is actually borrowed from sister-brand OPPO, which debuted in the OnePlus Ace earlier this year. In fact, leakster Digital Chat Station claimed last month that the 10T would feature this technology along with a 160W charger with a 4,800mAh battery.

— OnePlus (@oneplus) July 20, 2022 The upcoming flagship refresh also recently appeared on the benchmark platform Geekbench, confirming that it will come with 16GB of RAM. However, some rumours suggest that this configuration might be exclusive to India and China, with the global version featuring either 8GB or 12GB of memory. Lau also said that the upcoming OxygenOS 13 update based on Android 13 will first come to the OnePlus 10 Pro, while the 10T will get it later this year. This suggests that the 10T will be shipping with OxygenOS 12 out of the box. There’s also the possibility of it having a different camera arrangement since OnePlus went through the trouble of hiding the camera module in the teaser. The OnePlus 10T is being launched at 10 PM (local time) on 3 August, which can be viewed on the OnePlus’ website and its YouTube channel. (Source: OnePlus [1][2])
