The closure has also been applied to the regulator’s older facility which is located adjacent to its headquarters. Naturally, this also affected the operation of the Apparatus Assignment Payment Counter at its HQ but interesting enough, MCMC has decided to close this counter until 8 March.
Furthermore, a separate announcement has also revealed that the operation of its hotline as well as complaint counters at all MCMC’s offices have now been suspended until further notice. That being said, all complaints can still be submitted through its official website and e-mail. Additionally, the regulator has pointed out that its staff are still working from home despite the closure of the facilities we’ve mentioned above.
