According to the bank, the implementation of EzQ is meant to improve its crowd management as well as reduce the amount of time that customers need to wait at Maybank branches. The bank also stated that customers can use EzQ to book their visiting timeslot within one to 10 business days ahead of their visit.

Once customers submit their appointment timeslot via EzQ, they will then receive the confirmation of the timeslot within the same day and a reminder email will be sent one day before the appointment takes place. At the moment, the EzQ system covers 90 Maybank branches and Premier Wealth Centres with more to come very soon as the bank aims to integrate its entire branch network into the system by early next year. Fret not though, Maybank will continue to accept walk-in customers despite the implementation of EzQ. To try out the new system yourself, just head on to Maybank’s official website.
