It’s got a pair of battery-powered fans in it as well to help with breathing. It also has sensors that detect if you’re breathing in our out, which then adjusts the fans’ speed accordingly. Said battery is rated at 820mAh. The company claims that it gives the Wearable Air Purifier up to eight hours of use in low power mode. But this drops down to two hours in high power mode. The company did not say what’s the difference between the two modes.
The Wearable Air Purifier also comes with a case. It uses UV light to clean the mask, and is also used to charge the mask. When connected to a phone via the LG ThinQ app, it also tells users if the mask’s filters needs replacing. The mask uses two H13 HEPA filters, similar to the ones used in the company’s full-sized air purifiers. LG has yet to announce a price for the PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier. But the company has said that it will be available in select markets starting in the fourth quarter of the year. (Source: LG)
