The list, which was picked up by leaskter HXL (@9550pro) and posted on Twitter, clearly has the Z690 chipset listed on it, but an H670, B660, Q670, W680, and last but not least, an X699. The X699, particularly, is interesting simply because, at the current moment, Intel hasn’t actually made any specific mention of a HEDT CPU lineup that falls under the Alder Lake lineup.
— HXL (@9550pro) August 21, 2021 On that note, speculations suggest that any HEDT that will be paired with the X699 could be a Sapphire Rapids-X; a CPU lineup that came up in the enthusiasts CPU circles earlier in July. That said, this is just hearsay and speculation after all, so the usual consumption of sodium is advised. The timing of the leak also seems to fall in nicely with the recent confirmation of Intel’s Alder Lake CPU lineup. Unlike its previous generations, Alder will feature a newly designed Core architecture, combining new Performance Cores with Efficient Cores. Moreover, the new CPU lineup will be built around the new Intel 7 process, which was previously known as the 10nm Enhance SuperFin. (Source: HXL via Twitter, Videocardz)
