Starting with the ZenBook series, the lineup comprises the ZenBook 13 and ZenBook 14, both of which are now powered by either an 11th generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 or Core i7-1165G7 CPU. Additional hardware specification includes Intel’s Iris Xe integrated graphics, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM running at a frequency of 3200MHz, and PCIe 3.0 SSD storage of up to 512GB. Both laptops, regardless of their 13.3-inch and 14-inch display sizes, still retain the same Full HD NanoEdge display.
Both the ZenBook 13 and 14 also comes with the same number of I/O ports, including a microSD card reader, a USB 3.2 Type-A port, two USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports, and a full-sized HDMI output port. Pricing starts at RM3999 for the ZenBook 13 and 14 models powered with Intel’s 11th gen Core i5, while the model running the Core i7 CPU will retail at an SRP of RM 4699. Further, the notebooks will be available in two colours, Pine Grey and Lilac Mist.
Moving down the line is ASUS’ VivoBook. Then as now, the series comprises three SKUs: the VivoBook S15 and the VivoBook 14 and 15. Much like the new ZenBook series, all three notebooks in this lineup are powered by Intel’s 11th generation Core i5-1135G7 CPU, have 8GB LPDDR4 RAM, and a 512GB PCIe 3.0 SSD. What sets the three VivoBooks apart is the graphics units within them; the S15 ships out with Intel’s Iris Xe integrated graphics, while the VivoBook 14 and 15 have the option to be fitted with an NVIDIA MX350 discrete GPU. Further, only the VivoBook S15 is equipped with a USB-C Thunderbolt 4 port. In terms of price, the VivoBook 14 and 15 starts from RM3099 for the version without the MX350 GPU, while only the 15-inch model will be available with NVIDIA’s MX350 discrete GPU at RM3299.
Both ASUS’ new 11th generation Intel-powered ZenBook and VivoBook series will be available at all ASUS official stores from 11 November onwards, as well its official online retail store at Shopee.
