Through its new Beta Programme, Astro is hoping that customers would be able to help the company improved its service further through their direct participation and feedbacks. While the Beta v1.1 release involved only the new user interface and Adaptive Bit Rate streaming capabilities, Astro has planned to include other future products into the programme such as the 4K UHD and cloud storage services.

Before you are able to enrol for the voluntary program though, do note that the Astro Beta Programme is not available for IPTV and NJOI customers. Additionally, you must own a Wi-Fi enabled PVR decoder and a home broadband connection with a speed of more than 10Mbps. While there might not be any monetary reward for joining the program, customers that signed for the Beta Programme will receive access to Super Pack Plus 4 which Astro described as “the most comprehensive all-in-one entertainment pack” without any additional costs until 30 June 2019.
