Xpress was launched just last November and had been offering instant and same-day deliveries within the same city. The service is actually powered by Teleport, Capital A’s logistics arm, and is a part of AirAsia’s ambition to provide a delivery network across Southeast Asia through its super app.

According to the company, parcels within Peninsular states will be delivered within one to three days while deliveries between Klang Valley and East Malaysian cities such as Kuching and Kota Kinabalu will take anywhere from five to nine days to be fulfilled. AirAsia claims that its service between East and West Malaysia is 47% more affordable compared to its rivals in the industry. To celebrate the launch of its expansion, AirAsia is providing customers with a discount for Xpress interstate deliveries. You can use the promo code “DOMESTIC” from 4 to 17 July when checking out to get 20% off your order. As for instant and same-day deliveries, the services are currently only available in Klang Valley, Melaka, Johor Bahru, Kota Bharu, Penang, Ipoh, Kota Kinabalu, Miri, Kuching, Singapore, and Bangkok. The company previously said that it would expand Xpress to be available nationwide, but did not provided a timeframe on when that will become a reality. Additionally, AirAsia and Teleport have laid out long-term ambitions to provide fast international delivery services across Asia, as well as Australia. AirAsia said last year that it planned to offer deliveries to other Southeast Asian countries by the second or third quarter of 2022, though the latest update from the firm is that ” international inter-city delivery services are in the pipeline.” (Source: AirAsia)
