To be available with either Intel Core i5-1135G7 or Core i7-1165G7, the Swift 3X is also equipped with the equally new Intel Iris Xe Max discrete graphics. Intel itself has yet to reveal further information regarding this particular graphics component but we believe that the Iris Xe Max is likely the official name for the laptop variant of the DG1 graphics. Since it did not make an appearance during today’s broadcast, the exact graphics capability of the Iris Xe Max graphics inside the new Swift 3X is still a mystery. That being said, Acer has clearly targeted this laptop at content creators and creative professionals which in a way indicates that the company is quite confident with the graphical firepower of Swift 3X.

The laptop is also equipped with a 14-inch Full HD IPS display that has a maximum brightness level of 300nits and 72% NTSC colour gamut coverage which seemed rather low for a laptop that is targeted at content creators. Meanwhile, it can also be obtained with up to 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and 1TB PCIe NVMe solid state drive. Weighing at 1.37kg, Acer also claimed that the Swift 3X has a battery life of up to 17.5 hours together with a fast-charging feature that allows it to obtain four hours of operational time, with just 30 minutes of charging time. For now, Acer has yet to reveal the release date of the laptop for Malaysia but it will be made available in the market starting with China this month and will be priced at RMB 4,999 (~RM 3,112) over there.
